Animator Will Vinton dies at age 70.

Will Vinton, animator behind the California Raisins, dies. PORTLAND, Ore. — Will Vinton, an Oscar-winning animator who invented Claymation, a style of stop-motion animation, and brought the California Raisins to TV, has died in Oregon. He was 70. He passed away on Oct. 4th

He did all those claymation Holiday specials we saw as a kid, The California Raisins and the Dominos Pizza Noid.

Fresh Guacamole by PES | Oscar Nominated Short

Adam Pesapane, known by the pseudonym PES, is an Oscar and Emmy-nominated American director and stop-motion animator of numerous short films and commercials. In 2013, his short film Fresh Guacamole was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. It is the shortest film ever nominated for an Oscar.
